I am a ceramicist and ceramics tutor based in Penrith, Cumbria. A love of the natural environment is a strong influence on my practice, and my work is frequently inspired by a memory of a place.

I consider form and finish to be of equal importance. The pieces are thrown on a potters wheel, often slip decorated and glazed in a natural palette of colour. When I am not creating or teaching, my favourite way to spend my time is in the Lake District, or beside the Solway Firth.

I studied BA Glass and Ceramics at The National Glass Centre.
